🩺 Inpatient & Operating Duties • Perform elective open and laparoscopic gastrointestinal procedures including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and hernia repairs. • Manage acute surgical emergencies such as perforated peptic ulcers, acute bowel obstruction, mesenteric ischemia, and peritonitis. • Conduct comprehensive surgical outpatient clinics, evaluating breast lumps, thyroid swellings, soft tissue lesions, and peripheral vascular disease. • Lead trauma triage for blunt and penetrating abdominal trauma, executing emergency damage-control laparotomies. • Ensure rigorous surgical asepsis, post-operative surgical site infection (SSI) surveillance, and nutritional support planning.
